Staff Research Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead research/engineering to improve core conversational capabilities
• Focus on instruction following, retrieval, memory, and long-horizon tasks
• Build end-to-end models and pipelines for quality and efficiency
• Partner with platform/product engineers to deploy models to production
• Break down ideas into milestones and roadmaps
• Compensation: $200K–$400K + equity

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of AI/ML engineering or research
• Post-training deployment of LLMs in production
• Fluency in Python and modern ML tooling (training, evaluation, data pipelines)
• Track record turning research ideas into production impact
• Ability to define a roadmap and lead cross-functional execution
