Staff Research Scientist

📋 Description

• Work at the interface of print and materials development to improve additive manufacturing.
• Plan and carry out research projects to develop new processes and testing methods.
• Design and execute experiments to test how print and bake parameters affect accuracy and properties.
• Collaborate with production partners to transfer applications and scale up (some travel).
• Summarize research, write technical reports, and present findings to chemists, engineers, and scientists.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, materials science, polymer chemistry, or chemical engineering.
• Experience in lab work with chemistry or materials.
• A highly motivated, problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to design and execute experimental plans involving materials/chemistry.
• Experience in chemical handling and processing protocols (preferred).
• Experience in material property characterization or dimensional accuracy (preferred).
