Own quality for significant areas of the AI Gateway product, its supporting services, and its APIs
Turn ambiguity into a concrete test plan and identify risks
Build and maintain automated test suites, frameworks, harnesses, and fixtures
Incorporate AI and agent-based tooling into testing workflows where appropriate
Validate the AI Gateway data path, including provider API compatibility, policy matching, and
Debug complex failures across microservices, Kubernetes, TLS/proxy, and CI infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

8+ years in software quality engineering / SDET / test automation, including 5+ years on
Proven autonomy in taking under-specified problems to working solutions
Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Golang
Practical experience with LLM-based tools or coding agents in engineering work
Demonstrated ability to isolate root causes in complex failures
Extensive hands-on experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous workflows
