Staff Security Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and deploy security controls, automation, and log pipelines for a lean team.
• Hands-on work across AWS, SIEM, endpoints, CI/CD, and infra repos.
• Develop internal tooling; write custom Python for tooling and pipelines.
• Own security signal instrumentation by integrating tools via APIs.
• Establish secure defaults in Infrastructure as Code with reusable modules.
• Incorporate security checks into CI/CD and developer workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in hands-on security engineering focused on automation and instrumentation.
• Strong Python scripting for building tooling and log pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end log pipelines and SIEM.
• SIEM onboarding, detections, and alert tuning experience.
• Endpoint security across macOS/Windows, incl. virtual desktops.
• Infrastructure as Code experience; Terraform required.
