Staff Security Engineer, Cloud

📋 Description

• Architect and implement cloud security foundations on AWS and GCP (IAM, networking, segmentation)
• Write Terraform-based security architecture with reusable modules
• Design cloud identity systems at scale (workload identity, service accounts, cross-cloud access)
• Lead cloud networking security (VPCs, private connectivity, egress, firewalling, isolation)
• Build security automation across CI/CD and cloud environments
• Own Kubernetes/container security for production workloads (GKE/EKS)

🎯 Requirements

• Built cloud security platforms on AWS and GCP, not just consumed services
• Deep fluency in Terraform, including large-scale state management and modules
• Think in secure systems and primitives, not one-off controls
• Strong opinions on cloud IAM and networking design, informed by real-world failures
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments and defining long-term technical direction
• Prefer automation, code, and guardrails over documentation; can influence architecture via depth
