Staff Security Engineer - Detection and Response

📋 Description

• Shape the DART roadmap based on priorities and threat models.
• Identify detection requirements during feature/infrastructure design.
• Architect AI-powered detection and triage pipelines; minimize false positives.
• Collaborate as a key architect for SIEM, SOAR, and adjacent platforms; scalable ingestion/alerts.
• Own the incident response program architecture; guide complex high-impact events.
• Set the technical direction for DART codebases and infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in detection, security ops, incident response, or software engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python (preferred) or Kotlin/TypeScript.
• Experience building AI/LLM-driven detection, triage, and investigation workflows.
• Detections mapped to attacker TTPs (MITRE ATT&CK).
• Extensive experience building detection-as-code and alert pipelines; signal quality.
• Strong AWS knowledge: logging/telemetry (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, CloudWatch) and IAM analysis.
