Staff Site Reliability Engineer - Networking

📋 Description

• Define and own the technical direction for networking across a hybrid infrastructure, covering
• Design, develop, and automate core networking capabilities, including load balancing, ingress
• Lead cross-data-center resilience initiatives for globally distributed on-premises scanning
• Develop and maintain edge protection strategies for internet-facing platforms, including DDoS
• Ensure network infrastructure delivers the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability
• Establish networking and reliability standards across engineering teams, identifying architectural

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in network engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, BGP, anycast, DNS, TLS, and
• Experience designing, building, and operating hybrid infrastructure spanning physical data centers
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes networking, including CNI, ingress controllers, and service mesh
• Experience developing software and automation tools for network infrastructure using programming
• Proficiency in IaC and GitOps practices, with hands-on experience using tools such as Terraform
