📋 Description

  • Design, build, and own eBPF programs and BPF LSM hooks in the kernel.
  • Own kernel/userspace enforcement boundary: kernel events, policy evaluation, and caches.
  • Reduce enforce-mode latency on the syscall hot path across large fleets.
  • Extend enforcement into containers and namespaces: cgroups, seccomp, Kubernetes.
  • Harden portability across kernel versions with BTF, CO-RE, and tracepoint ABI.
  • Partner with macOS/Windows teams and policy-backend for cross-stack work.

🎯 Requirements

  • Deep Linux kernel internals with C and/or Rust production programming.
  • Hands-on eBPF for security enforcement; verifier fluency; aya/aya-ebpf.
  • Container runtimes: namespaces, cgroups, seccomp; Kubernetes workloads.
  • Portability across kernel versions: BTF, CO-RE, tracepoint ABI.
  • Kernel debugging and performance tooling: perf, ftrace, bpftrace, gdb/kgdb.
  • 8+ years in systems-level software; AI-assisted design and leadership.
