📋 Description

• Work on StrongDM’s proxy and control-plane platform in Go (Golang).
• Lead architecture for highly concurrent distributed backend systems and set engineering standards.
• Shape roadmaps with architects, PMs, and DevOps/SRE leaders across teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive architecture discussions for secure, scalable systems.
• Collaborate across multi-cloud production environments to resolve complex issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/SE or related field.
• 8+ years in software engineering with deep Go, distributed systems experience.
• Strong API design knowledge (gRPC/Protobuf or REST) and cloud (AWS or other major provider).
• Proven ability to architect concurrent distributed systems and lead cross-team efforts.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication; mentor capability.
