Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain reliability components (rate limiters, migrations, circuit breakers).
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize PostgreSQL usage, keep distributed systems stable.
• Lead initial investigations during severe incidents and guide mitigations.
• Create scalable tools and frameworks to help teams build resilient services.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development and automate repetitive tasks.
• Influence reliability best practices by sharing knowledge and setting high standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise with Java/JVM and scalable backend systems; open to other languages.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, high availability, CAP, and fault tolerance.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL and Redis (key-value / non-relational stores).
• Containerization and cloud-native environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Ability to work independently with critical thinking and strong decision making.
