Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, architecture, and delivery of complex product initiatives.
• Build and enhance React and React Native apps used by veterinary pros.
• Set engineering standards, drive code quality, and ensure strong test coverage.
• Develop scalable components, shared libraries, and patterns.
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering direction across teams.
• Partner with CTO and leadership to define and execute high-impact solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering with ownership of complex, production systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Deep expertise in at least one modern language and modern web frameworks.
• Strong JavaScript and React skills, including architecting large-scale front-end apps.
• Proven ability to design scalable systems, APIs, and data models.
• Experience with relational databases and query optimization.
