Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build platform services powering GoDaddy’s internal developer ecosystem.
• Lead architecture and technical direction for high-scale APIs and infrastructure.
• Develop AI-powered tooling, including chat-based workflows.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and platform teams to integrate core capabilities.
• Own production systems end-to-end, focusing on performance and on-call reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend engineering with Node.js / TypeScript and scalable REST APIs.
• Experience building systems on AWS (ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, IAM).
• Full-stack development using React / Next.js.
• Distributed systems fundamentals: data modeling, caching, consistency, design.
• CI/CD and testing best practices with GitHub Actions.
• Experience building or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform or tooling.
