Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Identify and implement novel query optimization algorithms in Core Mining Engine
• Analyze and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks
• Design high-performance systems for increasing database request rate
• Evangelize best practices in database usage and end-to-end architecture
• Mentor teammates and grow the engineering team
• Write clean, testable code and review peers

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science; Masters or PhD preferred
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Background in database internals or core components for large-scale data systems
• Experience in programming with C++ (17)
• Strong analytical skills in data structures and algorithms
• Curiosity to understand and improve systems
