Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead technical direction and architecture for KnowBe4's platform.
• Own full-stack features: Rails APIs, GraphQL, Vue 3 / SvelteKit frontends.
• Architect AWS infrastructure across regions with IaC and Terraform.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Align with product, security, and infra teams to meet compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years scaling Ruby on Rails; GraphQL optimization.
• Frontend with Vue 3 or SvelteKit; TypeScript; MFE experience.
• AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, S3) and Terraform.
• Distributed systems and event-driven architectures; idempotency.
• Technical leadership: ADRs; design reviews; compliance focus.
• AI-assisted development tooling experience.
