Staff Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Hands-on Kotlin backend design and implementation for device management.
• Lead design and development of Toast services for device config UX.
• Collaborate with PM, Hardware, QA, and other teams on roadmap.
• Create technical requirements and detailed designs for the software system.
• Lead estimation sessions to plan projects with judgment.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years designing and implementing robust backend services.
• Proficient in Java or Kotlin (OO languages).
• Demonstrated technical leadership across engineering, product, and business.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
• Backend lifecycle practices: database, services, API design.
• Experience developing SPA frontends with React.
