Staff Software Engineer (Backend, Business Systems)

📋 Description

• Set technical direction for critical domains within the Business Systems team, establishing an
• Architect, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and internal tools that
• Design and implement well-loved user experiences to interact with backend systems.
• Partner with stakeholders across all of the teams mentioned above to understand critical workflows
• Lead engineering efforts for complex technical initiatives from discovery through production
• Strengthen the security and resilience of business-critical systems through automated testing

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering and operating production software for complex business workflows, with
• Ability to evaluate architectural tradeoffs across custom software and third-party platforms
• Deep expertise in designing APIs, working with relational databases, and integrating enterprise
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in at least one modern backend programming
