Staff Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Design and build core backend infra: auth, permissions, feature flags, notifications, docs integrations
• Build and evolve Harvey's internal product platform across multiple product lines
• Lead development of enterprise features: secure multi-party collaboration, cross-org workflows, admin controls
• Maintain high standards for security, privacy, reliability with sensitive data
• Collaborate with product, AI, design, and GTM teams for enterprise-ready experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend experience on platform/product teams
• Experience shipping features across the stack with impact
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, REST/gRPC, databases
• Familiarity with RBAC, feature flag systems, third-party integrations
• Track record shipping intuitive products with attention to detail
• Experience building backend platforms supporting multiple product lines
