📋 Description

• Influence technical strategy for Affirm’s Lakehouse Platform (Iceberg, Spark, Snowflake)
• Design and develop platform capabilities for secure, discoverable analytics data
• Strengthen governance and access controls (RBAC, data masking, lineage, privacy)
• Improve analytics engineering foundations with data modeling, pipelines, testing, docs
• Operate at scale: schema evolution, partitioning, observability, on-call readiness
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate needs into durable platform architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Lakehouse Platform Expertise: Build/operate OLAP systems using Iceberg, Spark, Snowflake
• Snowflake Platform Expertise: RBAC, dynamic data masking, warehouse optimization
• Data Platform Architecture: table formats, schema evolution, partitioning, data lifecycle
• Governance and Trust: RBAC/ABAC, data quality, lineage, privacy controls
• Analytics Engineering: dbt, data modeling, testing, CI/CD, data quality
• Agentic Data Tools: semantic layers, self-service analytics, internal data apps
• Technical Leadership: set direction, mentor engineers, drive roadmaps
• Programming Skills: Python, SQL, or JVM-based languages for production systems
