Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Sandboxes (West Coast)

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and operate core services for Cloud Sandboxes
• Build scalable systems for microVM orchestration and workload scheduling
• Develop high-performance APIs and control planes for multi-tenant workloads
• Ensure reliability, observability, and performance of Cloud Sandbox infra
• Collaborate with product, platform, and security teams on features
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and design docs

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of backend software engineering in large-scale cloud systems
• Proficiency in Go and/or Java
• Deep understanding of container orchestration and Kubernetes
• Experience designing highly available, secure, and observable production systems
• Strong cloud infra knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scalability patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code tooling
