Staff Software Engineer (Commercial Platform)

📋 Description

• Build the platform at the heart of ICEYE's data business: it's how customers buy and receive our
• Own the technical architecture and migration plan for bringing several existing backend systems
• Make the key architecture and data-model decisions and hands-on drive them through execution across
• Deliver the platform's first production milestone together with the team within the first quarter
• Lead the migration of the remaining live products onto the platform without disrupting customers
• Set the technical standards other engineers build against as the platform consolidation continues

🎯 Requirements

• Backend production engineering experience in Go, or deep enough backend expertise in a similar
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and event-driven, message-based architectures
• Production experience with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
• Practical experience with observability tooling such as LGTM stack, Datadog and OpenTelemetry
• A track record of technically leading an architecture renewal, platform consolidation, or
• Proven ability to bring multiple engineering teams and stakeholders to a shared technical direction
