Staff Software Engineer | Console

📋 Description

• Define and own the architectural direction for Console's platform pillars.
• Lead architectural decisions across Console sub-teams; write RFCs and docs.
• Reduce coordination by designing self-service integration patterns and contracts.
• Own the evolution of cross-cutting systems: access control, navigation, entitlements.
• Partner with engineering managers and product leads to align platform roadmaps.
• Set and maintain engineering quality: DORA metrics, contract testing, feature flags.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ownership of cross-team platform or shared-infra.
• Strong full-stack web depth; understand integration contracts and trade-offs.
• Track record of technical alignment across teams without line management.
• Experience building or governing access control, permissions, identity systems.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous ownership spaces; document standards.
• Evidence of boosting engineering capability through mentorship and standards.
