Staff Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Design scalable, fault-tolerant infra powering Harvey's AI across cloud regions
• Own and evolve multi-cloud infra (Azure, GCP) including Kubernetes, networking, container mgmt
• Lead observability and incident response for rapid issue detection
• Architect distributed systems for reliability: load balancing, quota, failover
• Drive IaC with Terraform and Pulumi for reproducible deployments
• Mentor engineers through code and design reviews and technical leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering in production
• Proven track record building and scaling large distributed systems
• Expertise in cloud platforms: Azure preferred; AWS/GCP ok
• Proficient in IaC tools: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation
• Strong Kubernetes, container orchestration, networking, and cloud security
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) and incident response (PagerDuty, Incident.io)
• Proficient in Python or Go
• Excellent problem-solving and operational excellence mindset
