Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead and define full-stack architecture within engineering teams, aligning tech with business goals and scalability.
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality apps using Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, SQL, and relational DBs.
• Own architecture, system design, and documentation for distributed systems.
• Identify risks and address scalability, reliability, and performance challenges.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical coaching.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level full-stack with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript; Angular a plus.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL; NoSQL exposure.
• Proven experience designing scalable distributed and event-driven systems.
• Architecture planning, system design, and technical documentation.
• Mentoring skills to support engineers at different levels.
