Staff Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Contribute to Plaid's data-driven and ML roadmap.
• Lead data infra projects: ML golden paths, offline streaming, ETL pipelines, data warehouse/lakehouse evolution.
• Define technical roadmaps with stakeholders across Plaid.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and reduce operational burden on the Data Platform.
• Mentor and grow the data infrastructure team.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Extensive hands-on data infrastructure/platform delivery experience
• Deep understanding of Data Infrastructure systems: warehouses, lakehouses, Spark, streaming
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management
• Proficiency in coding, testing, and system design
• Leadership experience mentoring junior engineers
• Nice-to-Have: Databricks, Airflow, AWS EMR, Python
