Mentor engineers; participate in on-call and incident response.
Contribute to Tempo open source and community.

🎯 Requirements

Deep experience building and operating distributed data systems.
Strong Go programming experience (Tempo is written in Go).
Experience designing APIs for humans and agents (TraceQL-like).
Operational mindset with production ownership, SLOs, and automation.
Excellent written communication in a fully remote, async team.
Open-source contribution or active community engagement.
