Staff Software Engineer, Developer Productivity (CI/CD) - Claude Code

📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end build, test, merge, and deploy pipeline.
• Drive time-from-push-to-healthy-in-prod as a core metric.
• Design AI-assisted code review to scale PR confidence-to-land.
• Build canary, progressive rollout, health checks, and automated rollback with platform teams.
• Improve test reliability by quarantining, root-causing, and retiring intermittent failures.
• Shape CI and repo topology to match shipping at Anthropic.
• Partner with platform, delivery infra, and security; represent DP in cross-org decisions.
• Design postmortem, incident response, and on-call processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Backend or developer-infra engineering with hands-on CI/CD at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one statically-typed systems language (Go or Rust).
• Experience operating CI/CD or release systems through production incidents, including postmortems and remediations.
• Demonstrated ability to work across team boundaries — building consensus with platform, security, and product engineering.
• Comfort using AI coding tools daily with informed opinions on leverage.
