📋 Description

• Own the local and hosted development environment end to end.
• Manage container lifecycle, dependencies, hot reload, startup.
• Reduce cold-start time for new dev environments as codebase grows.
• Design environment isolation with sandboxes and ephemeral spaces.
• Build pre-push validation to catch issues on the engineer’s machine.
• Partner with platform and infra teams to shape topology for fast inner loop.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant professional software engineering experience in backend or developer infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker or similar) and Kubernetes.
• Ownership of a dev environment/build system used by multiple teams.
• Experience delivering infrastructure across teams that others rely on.
• 7+ years of backend or developer infrastructure experience.
