Staff Software Engineer, Endpoint Escalations (C++, Windows/OS Internals)

📋 Description

• Own and resolve complex escalated customer issues involving endpoint security software and
• Perform advanced root-cause analysis across Windows OS components and C++ codebases
• Read, debug, modify, and patch code to resolve critical issues
• Act as primary engineering contact during high-severity incidents with updates and remediation
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, support, and product teams to identify recurring issues and
• Translate escalation insights into product improvements and roadmap enhancements

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing complex customer escalations and debugging
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ development, including analyzing and modifying existing code
• Deep knowledge of Windows internals: kernel/user-mode, drivers, memory management, file system
• Experience with Windows debugging tools (WinDbg, kernel debugging, memory dumps)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems down to the code level
• Excellent communication with customers and executives; experience with security tech is highly
