Staff Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

📋 Description

• Set technical direction and drive key engineering decisions that influence multiple teams across
• Identify and address reliability, performance, and scalability challenges proactively at a systems
• Build and iterate on customer-facing product features using Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript.
• Work across the technology stack, including backend APIs, data modeling, relational databases, and
• Partner with engineering leads to align technical direction and architectural approaches across
• Establish and promote engineering patterns, conventions, and standards that improve code quality

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, with strong backend fundamentals and broad
• Previous experience operating at Staff, Principal, Architect, or equivalent senior technical level.
• Production experience with Ruby on Rails or a comparable backend framework.
• Strong working knowledge of React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Experience working with relational databases at scale, including MySQL, Spanner, or similar
• Proven ability to lead technical decisions across multiple teams by building relationships
