Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack – Commerce & Loyalty (Shop)

📋 Description

• Build and maintain Shop web experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, including
• Build and extend backend REST endpoints and services to support new or modified frontend features
• Integrate with Shopping Graph and Developer Portal APIs for merchant data, offer eligibility, and
• Support infrastructure modernization such as GKE migration for Shop and adoption of shared UI
• Contribute reusable components or patterns to ID.me’s shared UI Foundations when they have broader
• Partner closely with Design and Product to turn discovery, personalization, loyalty, and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical
• Strong frontend engineering experience (typically 5+ years).
• Deep expertise in vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and the DOM.
• Hands-on experience shipping native Web Components in production (Custom Elements, templates
• Solid production experience with React (and Next.js) — required for adoption, not only for wrappers.
• Experience with UI component libraries or design systems.
