Staff Software Engineer, Governance

📋 Description

• Design and develop software solutions that enhance governance capabilities and improve user experiences across AI workflows.
• Build scalable backend services and contribute to the evolution of enterprise AI and data science platforms.
• Extend and improve open-source technologies supporting platform functionality.
• Create technical designs, document architectural decisions, and communicate solutions clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver impactful features.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve engineering quality and technical standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend experience with distributed computing (Hadoop/Spark/Kafka).
• Proficient in Java, Scala, Go, or Python.
• Experience designing APIs (REST/GraphQL or similar).
• Proven ability to build production-grade, scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience improving backend performance and reliability.
