Staff Software Engineer, Home Pod (React Native)

📋 Description

• Own and evolve the core Home experience in React Native
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and backend to set tech direction
• Mentor engineers, raise quality bars, and ship impactful improvements
• Improve performance, reliability, and polish of the Home surface
• Drive server-driven UI architecture and guardrails with backend teams
• Own long-term technical roadmap for the Home Pod client

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience shipping user-facing apps
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on React Native experience
• Experience designing server-driven UI or configuration-driven layers
• Track record running experiments (A/B tests) on core product surfaces
• Strong TS/JS, React Native, and mobile tooling; backend knowledge a plus
