Staff Software Engineer, Identity & Access Management

📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve identity platforms for user mgmt, auth, and entitlements.
• Implement scalable authorization with RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC across apps.
• Build auth systems with identity providers and enterprise SSO integrations.
• Manage user lifecycles: provisioning, deprovisioning, identity data.
• Align platforms with SOC 2 and GDPR; partner with security teams.
• Create APIs and services to enable secure identity capabilities; drive roadmaps.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building/operating identity/auth platforms at scale.
• Backend with Java, Spring Boot, modern practices.
• API design using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Cloud and infra: AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Helm.
• OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, SAML 2.0, SSO, SCIM.
• RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC authorization models.
• Automated testing (TDD) and SOC 2 / GDPR compliance.
• Strong communicator; able to work autonomously in distributed teams.
