Staff Software Engineer in Test, iOS

📋 Description

• Define and own the iOS test automation strategy and framework for Okta Verify and its SDKs.
• Mentor engineers; write and review Swift-based designs and code across teams.
• Build and maintain automated tests for iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS.
• Shape CI quality by metrics, test coverage, flakiness, and pipeline health.
• Partner with Security to define security/privacy test coverage for authentication flows.
• Represent quality in architecture/design reviews for new Okta Verify features.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of iOS software test experience; 3+ years in iOS UI test automation.
• Experience developing iOS test tools using Swift/Obj-C.
• Experience defining test strategy at platform/product level; release testing and issue management.
• Experience building/maintaining Mobile CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Xcode Cloud).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience scripting with shell, Python, etc.
