Staff Software Engineer Infrastructure (Garage)

📋 Description

• Develop, configure and maintain uploaders and networking gear at AeroVect's garage facilities
• Manage software release delivery to autonomous tractors and on-prem devices across active
• Build and maintain on-prem data processing applications in C++ and Python that handle real-time
• Ensure reliable ingestion of vehicle data including dashcam images and telemetry, and manage upload
• Maintain and improve an existing operator-facing UI layer that supports day-to-day garage operations
• Monitor server health, network performance, and data pipeline reliability across on-prem systems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience managing on-prem infrastructure, bare metal systems, and physical networking
• Proficiency in C++ for building data processing applications — standard library, basic
• Strong proficiency in Python and Bash for automation, tooling, and operational scripting
• Hands-on experience physically configuring servers/computers and network hardware
• Experience managing software deployment pipelines to physical devices or embedded systems
