📋 Description

• Set technical direction for performance initiatives across startup time, memory usage, CLI
• Design, build, and ship advanced AI-assisted coding capabilities, including granular auto-approval
• Drive cross-team technical initiatives spanning the developer extension, backend services, and AI
• Own high-impact features end to end, from technical design and implementation through production
• Establish engineering standards for AI coding workflows, including context-window optimization
• Identify and prioritize technical debt, architectural risks, and performance bottlenecks while

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, including demonstrated technical
• Proven ability to establish technical direction for complex projects, make architectural decisions
• Deep experience building developer tools, IDE extensions, productivity software, or comparable
• Expert-level TypeScript and modern JavaScript skills, including asynchronous programming
• Strong track record of performance optimization at scale, including profiling, instrumentation, and
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools, chat interfaces, agent-based development workflows, LLM

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary of $200,000–$260,000 for candidates based in New York City and San Francisco.
• Base salary of $150,000–$220,000 for other U.S.-based team members.
