Design, develop, and maintain Branch core components on the Payouts team
Drive engineering excellence and architectural direction
Mentor engineers and push for engineering rigor
Tackle complex backend problems across teams to ensure scalability and reliability
Collaborate with product, customer success, and support to improve user experience
Ensure consistent REST APIs and domain-driven service design

🎯 Requirements

8+ years building clean, distributed, scalable software
Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, software design
Java with Spring Boot and Java-based microservices
Experience designing customer-facing RESTful APIs
Relational DB schemas: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling; unit testing (JUnit/Mockito)
