Staff Software Engineer (QAE)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs that expose testability as a platform
• Architect and implement backdoor testing interfaces and controlled test-only entry points for safe
• Promote testability and quality practices across product, backend, mobile, data science, and design
• Collaborate with teams to identify testability gaps in microservices (REST and gRPC) and propose
• Develop internal tooling, SDKs, and libraries to simplify adoption of testability best practices
• Define and track quality metrics and SLAs across services; drive adoption through data-driven

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building production backend services with strong
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience designing and building testability infrastructure, internal developer tools, or platform
• Strong hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices (REST and gRPC)
• Ability to design safe, access-controlled test-only interfaces without compromising security or
• Knowledge of software quality methodologies and how to translate them into platform capabilities
