Staff Software Engineer, Quality & Reliability

📋 Description

• Define and drive technical strategy for engineering quality, production reliability, and safe
• Lead cross-team initiatives to address root causes of systemic failures.
• Establish architectural principles and paved roads for reliable design and delivery.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to improve resilience, operability, and
• Build or guide platform capabilities for release safety, automated validation, and developer
• Advance observability strategy to understand behavior, diagnose failures, and guide reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Significant software engineering experience at senior/staff level with cross-cutting problems.
• Track record leading multi-team initiatives improving reliability, delivery, or platform
• Strong systems thinking linking architecture, data integrity, operations, developer workflows, and
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in AWS or cloud environments.
• Strong design/programming skills in TypeScript, Java, or similar.
• Experience with observability, resilience engineering, CI/CD, release safety, automated validation
