Staff Software Engineer (Ruby or GOlang)

📋 Description

• Staff Backend Developer (Ruby/Go) for Workato Engine team.
• Build and maintain recipe execution: DSL, events, webhooks, jobs.
• Focus on performance, scaling, storage, durability, concurrency.
• Architect distributed apps with performance and resilience.
• Write clean Ruby and Go code; troubleshoot complex apps.
• Integrate data storage: Postgres, S3, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years building scalable distributed backend apps.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems patterns.
• Experience with databases, load balancers, queues, caching.
• Multilingual: Ruby plus at least one other language (Go/Rust/WASM).
• Cloud deployments: Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD; AWS/Azure/GCP.
• BS/MS in CS or Eng; 7+ years; open to remote work.
