Staff Software Engineer - Scala

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Scala/Akka trading system on Kubernetes in the cloud
• Architect, deploy, and manage backend services in Kubernetes for scalability
• Implement and enhance trading services architecture for modularity
• Develop distributed systems for high-performance, low-latency trading
• Implement monitoring and logging to track backend performance in real time
• Integrate backend with market data feeds for timely, accurate data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years building reactive, distributed near real-time apps in high-performance environments
• 5+ years Scala (or JVM-based) backend development
• Familiarity with functional programming principles
• Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform experience for scalability/availability
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
