Staff Software Engineer - Security Engineering

📋 Description

• Develop security capabilities to secure Plaid infrastructure and data access.
• Lead the team's strategic planning with manager and senior engineers.
• Own and build Plaid's security infra including IAM Gateway, KMS, and Network Firewall.
• Consult with product engineers to meet Plaid security standards.
• Educate and support other teams to improve security.
• Assist with incident response and security awareness programs.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building scalable systems and services.
• Experience architecting software to meet security, privacy, usability, scalability, and cost.
• Leadership experience such as tech lead.
• Experience with data encryption, key/secret management, and authentication.
• Experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, or incident response.
• Passionate about educating others on security and privacy.
