Staff Software Engineer, Storage

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end storage subsystems from data path to multi-tenant control plane.
• Work on distributed storage using Go, Rust, C++, and Kubernetes.
• Design high-performance file storage and durable block volumes at exabyte scale.
• Implement CSI drivers, dynamic provisioning, snapshots, resize, and RWO volumes.
• Improve IO patterns for AI pipelines: small files and metadata-heavy workloads.
• Improve reliability and observability with telemetry and dashboards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in storage systems, DB internals, or infra engineering.
• Track record shipping storage or DB systems (founder/lead, published).
• Production experience with distributed FS, block storage, or engines (NFS/S3).
• Deep expertise in storage data path: IO, caching, crash resilience.
• Expert in Rust, C++, or Go.
• Kubernetes experience: controllers, operators, CRDs, CSI.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving in distributed, high-perf environments.
• Clear communicator; cross-team collaboration.
