Staff Software Engineer, Travel & Expense

📋 Description

• Identify high-impact Travel & Expense technical problems and drive them to resolution.
• Set and raise the technical bar via design reviews and architectural decisions.
• Partner with Staff Engineers and EMs across expenses, travel, policy.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for design and delivery.
• Bring an AI-forward mindset to how the org builds, reviews, and operates.
• Contribute to the group's technical strategy and inform leadership investments.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering with leadership across multiple teams.
• Proven ability to drive ambiguous, cross-cutting problems to resolution.
• Deep experience designing and operating large-scale backend systems in production.
• Strong collaboration; raises engineering bar and works with ICs and managers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
