📋 Description

• Own performance across the whole video creation lifecycle: template load, media import, timeline
• Define performance metrics and service level objectives for Video, ensuring they track what people
• Build telemetry, tracing, dashboards and alerting that keep video performance visible, including
• Build profiling and benchmarking tooling: traces, device labs, automated performance suites.
• Ship measurable improvements to latency, frame stability, memory and battery life.
• Work with Native Video Engine, on-device ML and Editing teams to rework hot paths for better

• Made real systems measurably faster, can talk through the numbers.
• Move comfortably between product code, backend services and native or platform layers.
• Built performance tooling: profilers, tracing, instrumentation, benchmarking harnesses, regression
• Proficient in tools like Perf, Instruments, Perfetto, Android Studio Profiler and Chrome DevTools.
• Define meaningful metrics, read telemetry at scale, spot regressions, prove optimizations.
• Understand concurrency, memory behaviour and CPU/GPU cost models.
