Staff Software Reliability Engineer - Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and own data-intensive, high-performance platform components.
• Collaborate with engineers on project design and implementation.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Mentor engineers to scale the engineering organization.
• Debug production issues across services and on-call rotation.
• Contribute to incident management and on-call processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• 2+ years in object-oriented language, preferably Java.
• Hands-on with cloud-based distributed computing: Kinesis, Kafka, Flink, Spark.
• Storage/Compute: Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop.
• Experience developing and tuning highly scalable distributed systems.
• Reliability engineering focus on data quality, observability, and incident management.
