Staff Supplier Quality Engineer PCB/PCBA

📋 Description

• Conduct supplier assessments and on-site audits for PCB/PCBA quality.
• Collaborate with Electrical/Manufacturing/Design engineers on quality planning.
• Drive supplier qualification: process audits, FAI, PVT, and readiness reviews.
• Lead supplier quality planning through prototype to mass production.
• Manage SCARs, 8D, containment, and root cause analysis.
• Develop supplier scorecards and KPIs focused on quality and reliability.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and mitigate PCB/SMT risks.
• Collaborate with suppliers to implement inspection, test, and process control methods.

🎯 Requirements

• Self-starter with passion for quality and reliability in advanced electronics.
• Strong communication and leadership; influence cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Experience developing and managing electronics suppliers across geographies.
• Quality engineering in high-volume, high-complexity electronics; PCB/SMT and testing.
• Proficient with PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, 8D, RCA, SPC, DOE.
• Able to interpret schematics, drawings, Gerber files; communicate requirements to suppliers.
• IPC standards knowledge: IPC-A-610, IPC-6012, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721.
• Travel 20–30%.
