Staff System Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, test and document OS Kernel and Device Driver software in C/C++/Python
• Participate in agile development within a scrum team to deliver software at pace
• Hands-on development of kernel drivers and host driver libraries for low-level software
• Work on kernel/driver code and contribute to system software for Graphcore IPU solutions
• Collaborate with hardware, silicon and software engineers to enable fast time-to-market
• Hands-on during key product development phases involving hardware and silicon teams

🎯 Requirements

• Proven industry experience in software development using C/C++/Python
• OS Kernel and Device Driver development and deployment experience in Linux or Windows
• Good understanding of lower-level software stack and interactions with hardware
• Experience with PCIe, CPU, device drivers, SoC, firmware and hardware/software integration
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in a multinational team and with customers
