Staff Systems Engineer, Embedded Safety & Architecture

📋 Description

• Own translation of vehicle-level safety concepts into embedded architecture and requirements.
• Bridge between safety analysis and hardware/software teams to ensure coherence with automotive
• Define embedded system architecture and hardware/software partition (HSI) to support verification
• Maintain bidirectional traceability from safety goals to system requirements and down to
• Collaborate with DIAs with OEM partners and suppliers without owning downstream test execution.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in embedded systems with hardware and software depth.
• Strong ISO 26262 experience across system-design, hardware, and software handoffs.
• Familiarity with automotive standards (SOTIF, cybersecurity, UL 4600, ASPICE, AEC-Q10).
• Experience with requirements management and traceability (e.g., Polarion).
• Ability to reason about embedded C/C++/Rust and hardware/software partitioning.
