Staff Systems Engineer - Safety

📋 Description

• Own the safety case framework and ensure it is used across the org
• Develop technical content supporting functional safety case claims and evidence
• Perform functional safety analyses on assigned functions (HARA, FMEA, FTA, DFA)
• Lead software safety architecture development for safety monitors and runtime on high-performance SOCs
• Drive traceability between system requirements, architecture, and software safety specifications
• Lead safety committee reviews internally and externally

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field; 7+ years (MS 5+, PhD 2+)
• Strong ability to quickly understand complex systems and perform systematic software analysis
• Practical experience with FMEA, FTA, DFA, and attack tree analysis
• Knowledge of automotive functional safety standards ISO-26262 or similar
• Experience in safety-critical software development processes and ASIL D delivery
• Strong engineering communication skills for diverse teams
